The Traitors fans have spotted a major blunder from Traitor Rachel which they believe could cost her the whole game.

It has been a roller coaster of a journey since the fourth instalment of the hit BBC One game show returned to screens on New Year's Day. Just last night (January 14), Harriet went head to head with Rachel, who she believed to be a Traitor, even sacrificing her place in the castle.

In a nail biting roundtable, a stunned Rachel was forced to defend herself as she revealed to the group she had been keeping her own secret, and had in fact received FBI training ahead of the show.

Taking to Reddit, one eagle-eyed viewer has spotted the blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment which could cost Traitor Rachel the entire game. In a thread titled 'Potential Traitor errors', the fan picked up on one potentially game changing moment during last night's roundtable.

They wrote: "Spoilers! Just thinking about a few things: 1)Rachel’s FBI-training admission. Is this an ego-based mistake?

"Because if the Traitors now know that she had this training, it would make her a risk/target and they would likely just murder her? So if they don’t, will the Faithful ask why she’s been kept around?

"2) I also wonder if this is a mistake which comes from ego - was she showing off about this training? And it makes me think of how show-off she was with Ross when she tried to trip him up, slyly asking 'Was Hugo like that in the turret?' (Or words to that effect). I just wonder if her ego is going to trip her up at some point?"

They also asked what would happen should the remaining Traitors murder someone with a shield, adding: "Does everyone know if it’s a failed murder? If (big IF) they have tried to murder Jessie - who has a shield - and everyone finds out, doesn’t this make clear there were likely no Traitors in that group.

"Because if there were, they would know she had a shield and would more likely not have wasted to opportunity to murder someone. If they are made aware of a failed murder, does it possibly give the faithful a bit of evidence to use?"

Over on X, one fan wrote: "If they didn't vote for Rachel after that FBI lie, they don't deserve to win a penny If I heard that FBI bs, that would be an immediate vote for her. Hilarious."

Another added: "The secret Rachel dropped would’ve been a big red flag to me… like you expect me to believe you told Claudia you’ve been training with a FBI agent and she didn’t pick you? Na sorry, I’d catch that double bluff straight away."

Will Rachel's revelation be her downfall? Fans will have to wait to find out as The Traitors continues tonight (January 15).
