Bali Mumba has completed his transfer from Plymouth Argyle to League One rivals Huddersfield Town for a fee in the region of £1 million.
Mumba has signed a long-term contract at least until the summer of 2029 with the West Yorkshire club, who are chasing promotion to the Championship this season.
Argyle director of football Derek Adams has stated that all parties felt 'it was the best thing' to allow Mumba to move on to a new opportunity.

Mumba made a total of 170 appearances for Argyle, including 142 starts and nine goals, after joining them in the summer of 2022, initially on loan from Norwich City.
He was a key part of the squad under Steven Schumacher in the 2022/23 season as the Pilgrims held off a very strong challenge from Ipswich Town to be crowned as League One champions.
Mumba completed a then club record £1m transfer from Norwich in July 2023 and in Argyle's first match back in the Championship after a 13-year absence he scored a superb solo goal in a 3-1 win against Huddersfield at Home Park.
Adams said: "Bali has been an incredible servant to the football club, forming an integral part of the side who clinched the League One title with 101 points.
"He expressed a desire to move on to the next stage of his career, and the club would never stand in his way after all his contributions to Argyle over the years.
"All parties felt it was the best thing to allow him to move on to a new opportunity and he will always be welcome back at Home Park whenever he wishes."
Mumba was a half-time substitute for Argyle when they lost 3-1 away to Huddersfield in November. The return fixture will be at Home Park on March 21.
Argyle confirmed the departure of Mumba on their official website at 10.30am today and concluded the story by saying: "The 24-year-old heads for pastures new, and we thank him for all his efforts in a Green shirt and wish him all the best for his future career."
