With 2026 bringing freezing temperatures for many, shoppers are hunting through the January sales for purchases to help them stay warm.
Dunelm has reduced the price of one of its bestselling bedding items that customers have praised as a "super soft and cosy" option.
The Helston Bedspread has had 20% slashed from its price across all 11 available colours, reducing it to between £24 for a double to king size and £32 for a super king size. With a classic quilted design and a variety of shades to complement any bedroom décor, it's perfect for adding an additional layer to the bed during cold nights, reports Chronicle Live.
Crafted from "soft and inviting" recycled polyester and machine washable, the bedspread has won over Dunelm customers, achieving an impressive rating of 4.8 out of five stars from 370 reviews. For those wanting a more premium option, a bestseller at M&S is the Cotton Velvet Quilted Bedspread, available in six colours - though some were unavailable at the time of writing - and has also achieved an average rating of 4.8 out of five stars in reviews. M&S guarantees a "wonderfully soft feel" from this bedspread's pure cotton velvet material, plus "extra comfort" due to its warm filling; though it is a significantly more expensive choice, priced from £129 to £169 depending on size.
For those households seeking to inject some colour into their bedrooms, the Multi Quilted Stripe Bedspread available at Next could be an appealing choice. With a price range of £45 to £65, this vibrant bedspread promises to "effortlessly transform your sleeping space and bring a smile to your face" with its striking colour block design.
Back at Dunelm, one satisfied customer who purchased the Helston Bedspread said: "Just put on for winter and absolutely love the look and feel, it's super soft and cosy without being heavy."
