Mel B thanked the doctors and nurses who looked after her in hospital for getting her well enough to attend the final.

The X Factor judge admitted that she was feeling 'better ish' after being hospitalised on Friday.

"You know what, I really missed being here," said Mel.

"Thanks to all the doctors and nurses that looked after me and got me here tonight."

Scary Spice revealed she had been texting Andrea from her hospital bed during Saturday night's final.

Despite not being back to her best, Mel still looked fabulous in a long nude dress and fierce make up.

Mel B returned to the X Factor after being rushed to hospital on Friday night.

X Factor officials confirmed that the judge was returning to the judging panel after doctors said she was well enough to appear on the show.

In a tweet they wrote: "Mel B is back on #XFactor tonight. After the hospital discharged her & following medical advice Mel is deemed well enough for the show."

Former X Factor judge Tulisa stood in for Mel last night after she was too sick to attend the show.

Despite being billed as a triumphant comeback for the singer, who is currently trying to piece her life back together after a drugs sting by a tabloid newspaper, her return was a little awkward.

Viewers noticed the awkwardness between the former N-Dubz singer while Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who admitted she was missing gal pal Mel B.
