X Factor's Nathan Lewis and Sam Lavery are not in a relationship.
Reports published today have claimed that the aspiring singers are not only dating but have been in trouble with producers for sneaking off for cheeky "make-out sessions".
However, this couldn't be further from the truth and a show insider has confirmed to Mirror Online that the two are just mates.
"There isn't anything romantic going on between Sam and Nathan," we were told.

Speculation has been growing around the pair after they were spotted cuddling at Motown The Musical earlier on in the week.
There have also been reports claiming Sam, 17, and 5AM's Nathan, 23, were cosying up on a trip to McDonald’s.

But our source explained: "They are both close but are just friends."
According to The Sun on Sunday, the pair were caught emerging from a cupboard earlier this week - and show insiders were not happy.
"They have been told off for it in the past few weeks, because at times it has been difficult to find them," a source told the paper.
"When they came out of the cupboard they were dishevelled and had very guilty looks on their faces.

"A staff member even said, 'I know you’ve been kissing why don’t you just admit it?'."
However, X Factor has denied the allegations.
