Strictly Come Dancing stars Vito Coppola and Ellie Goldstein have revealed that they will continue to dance ballroom despite show exit

Strictly Come Dancing stars Ellie Goldstein and her professional dance partner Vito Coppola vowed to continue dancing despite being voted off the BBC show. During their exit interview, the pair, who have strived hard to reach the final every week with their performances, told It Takes Two host Fleur East that they plan on perfecting a few dance moves in the coming weeks.
Vito explained to Fleur: "Yes, we are dancing this week. We have a few other dances that Ellie said at the begin 'I want to do' And we'll keep on practising, we'll do some Charleston."
And speaking about their time on the show and how they did their best to take on comments by the four judges, Vito revealed that he used a whiteboard.
He explained: "I've been writing down and taking all the feedback from the judges, all the advice they wanted us to improve. "
He added: "We did write on the white board and go one by one, like bullet points. So it was very, very useful to us to picture, to visualise, so we're working one by one."
During their chat on BBC2, Ellie was shown a video clip of her mum praising her for being determined and striving to achieve her best on the ballroom dance show.
At the time of the pair's elimination from Strictly, fans shared their devastation, especially as Ellie made history by being the first contestant with Down Syndrome.
Following her battle with EastEnders star Balvinder Sopal in the dance off, Ellie spoke of her time on the show.
She said at the time: "I’ve enjoyed it so much! He is a kind person, and all I wanted from day one. You have been so heartwarming, thank you to you [Vito]."
On their exit, Vito was seen embracing Ellie and said: "Honestly, there are no words I can use to describe how proud I am of you and you did really change my life so much. You made me such a better person.
He continued: "At the beginning of this year, I said to myself please, please, please can you send me a beautiful angel into my life? And now you arrived. I’ve never had a little sister but I always wanted one.
He went on to say: "Now, I have you and you’re my little sister forever, and your big brother is always by your side."
Responding to his heartfelt words, the 23 year old model said: "I’ve enjoyed it so much! He is a kind person and all I wanted from day one. You have been so heartwarming, thank you to you [Vito]."
