Everything you need to know about Stranger Things season 5 episode release schedule
- Stranger Things season 5: volume 1 opens with Hawkins in lockdown and Vecna still on the loose. The stakes have never been higher, and Netflix fans were treated to four new episodes, all of which dropped at 1am on Thursday, November 27. This is in contrast to the US, where the episodes are landing one day earlier than the UK due to the time difference.
- The first four episodes of Stranger Things season 5 were titled: 'Chapter One: The Crawl', 'Chapter Two: The Vanishing of Holly Wheeler', 'Chapter Three: The Turnbow Trap' and 'Chapter Four: Sorcerer'.
- Netflix fans will have to wait another month to find out how things play out for the Hawkins crew following a dramatic plot twist at the end of volume 1. The second volume is set to drop on Christmas Day - Thursday, December 25 - in the US, which means UK fans will be able to watch the new episodes from 1am on Boxing Day - Friday, December 26.
- This second volume is going to consist of just three episodes, unlike the slightly chunkier first part, which consisted of four episodes. The next three episodes are titled: 'Chapter Five: Shock Jock', 'Chapter Six: Escape from Camazotz' and 'Chapter Seven - The Bridge'.
- The grand finale, which has been entitled The Rightside Up, will be ready to watch on New Year's Eve - Wednesday, December 31 - in the US. This means that UK viewers will be able to catch up with the final episode on New Year's Day - Thursday, January 1.
