Yes, you read it right, they’ve made another Sharknado and the cult movie looks just as brilliant and twice as terrible.

When we say ‘terrible’ we of course mean it in a ‘OMG, I have to watch this craziness until the end’ kind of way, as Sharknado 2: The Second One is back.

Even better for UK viewers is that The Second One made an appearance on Syfy in the early hours of this morning – directly after the US East Coast time launch - and will be shown again tonight.

Here is what we’ve got to look forward to.

Reprised roles

In the latest trailer above you can see the sharks are just as ruthless as the first film and Fin actor Ian Ziering, of Beverly Hills 90210, is left beating them off with a stick. Note, Tara Reid aka April, also returns.

Flying sharks

Yes, they fly. After a freak weather system turns its deadly fury on New York City, unleashing a Sharknado on the population and its most cherished, iconic sites only Fin and April can save the Big Apple.

It wouldn't be Sharknado if there weren't questionable graphics involved.

Kelly Osbourne’s cameo

Kelly will be appearing in The Second One, is this a tattoo of a shark on her heard per chance. Kelly will be joined by Judah Friedlander (30 Rock), Mark McGrath (Sugar Ray lead singer), Kari Wuhrer (Sliders) and Vivica A. Fox (Kill Bill, Independence Day). Previously announced cameos include Judd Hirsch (Numb3rs) and Andy Dick (NewsRadio).
