Selling Sunset has returned to Netflix with yet more explosive drama and feuds between the stars - one of which may come as a surprise.
A brand new series of Selling Sunset has brought with it explosive dinner parties and fiery rows, picking up where series eight left off. The ten episode series has reunited fans with some familiar faces including Chrishell Stause, Chelsea Lazkani, Mary Bonnet and Emma Hernan as well as some brand new names.
From the LA wildfires to Mary admitting how her home was raided by masked men, there has been an abundance of moments for fans to sink their teeth into. And of course there have been plenty of feuds over the years since Selling Sunset first aired.
With Bre and Chelsea and now Mary and Chelsea. But some may not be familiar with an apparent feud between Chrishell and Emma - and this is because it happened off camera.
What happened between Chrishell and Emma?
Taking to Reddit, many fans have been having their say on the situation as one person said: "They were the best of friends, and although Emma has obviously thrown away an amazing friendship over a man, it is sad cause they were so close and Emma was actually an amazing friend to Chrishell during 6/7/8."
Another wrote: "I just hope we get to see it all play out on TV."
A third added: "Emma's boyfriend has been publicly attacking Chrishell non-stop. Non-stop. I can't even imagine what he's like in private. And Emma seems to support him regardless, so I don't see any friendship surviving that."
Despite frosty interactions, season 9 has brought some clarity on their fight, as it appears to be centred around Emma's partner Blake. During season 8, Chrishell admitted she did not like who Emma was dating at the time.
During episode five, Emma admitted her partner "got my name tattooed on his ring finger three weeks after meeting me, that's a little crazy. But you know, sometimes crazy can be fun, I guess I like a little crazy".
Catching up with Chrishell, the topic soon turned to Emma's relationship with Blake as the star admitted: "He gets a little cray cray... we have our good moments."
Admitting he "doesn't want her to work", Emma added to the cameras: "Chrishell is super protective so she may be overreacting a little bit in the moment."
Chrishell told Emma: "Somebody like him who was born with a bank account, he doesn't work, he doesn't want you to work. He takes this hot, independent woman that he's attracted to, he takes away her access to her own money then takes away her friends, he isoltes you from the people who care about you."
But away from the cameras it appears there's more to the story as according to reports, when asked what happened between her and Emma, Chrishell replied on social media: "Ask her about her MAGA boyfriend who told me pronouns are dumb and that he likes to use the N word. I just can’t with that. Too old to allow that in. But love her from afar."
Earlier this year, it was reported by the Daily Mail that Emma's boyfriend Blake spoke out about Chrishell as he said: "We are barely acquaintances and we know very little about each other’s beliefs and lives."
Admitting they had "never discussed political views" and that he "does not use derogatory language about anyone", Blake added he had only met Chrishell a "handful of times".
Are they on speaking terms now?
Emma and Chrishell do not appear to be following on another on Instagram. The reunion episode is set to air on November 5 on Netflix, which no doubt fans will find out more about where the two stand today.
