The official trailer for the Netflix documentary series The Man With 1000 Kids has just dropped - and viewers are already blown away by the incredible story behind it. The show tells the tale of a charming Dutch scammer who has allegedly travelled the world in order to have babies via sperm bank on a mass scale.
The three-part series investigates the shady parts of the fertility industry and unveils how some international fertility clinics continue to allow anonymous donations due to a lack of global regulations. In the series, Netflix interviews groups of aggrieved parents from around the world who feel wronged by the YouTuber.
It also follows their mission to get the laws around sperm donation changed so that the same thing cannot happen again. The show, directed by Josh Allott and produced by Kathryn Taylor, airs Wednesday, July 3.

The trailer opens with the question: “What if I were to tell you that there is a man alive today who may have fathered over a thousand children? What kind of man would do that?”
It then goes on to introduce several families talking about their dreams of becoming parents and their experience with sperm donation. An emotional montage shows the parents allegedly targeted by the same sperm donor talking about how discovering his identity had negatively affected them.
One of the mothers involved could then be heard saying: “I’m gonna take you down with a bunch of other mums who will stand behind me.
“We were determined to stop him,” she continued, shaking her head, before warning: “Don’t mess with a mum.”
Viewers were left stunned by the trailer, taking to the comments section of YouTube to share their thoughts on the upcoming show.
“Did not expect this to come,” @zzL2536 wrote. While a shocked @rifleorcagames simply commented: “what theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee…” (sic)
While @bellaemma2020 pointed out the risks of children in the same area coming across their relations without knowing it, warning: “God is frowning on this behaviour! Sick now kids are subjected to marry [...] their siblings.” (sic)
However, @kman20 argued: “Shouldn’t they blame the sperm banks and not the donor? Aren’t the banks regulated? They should be the ones to stop the guy from donating.” (sic)
While @metawolf987 argued: “Why is it "dangerous" if a man wants to help populate the world??” (sic)
Stream The Man With 1000 Kids on Wednesday, July 3 exclusively on Netflix.
