Married At First Sight UK star Julia-Ruth looks completely different as she reveals the truth about her controversial matching tattoo as well as sharing a huge Divarni admission.

The popular E4 programme has wrapped up following a dramatic reunion special packed with explosive revelations. This series delivered non-stop chaos, from heated confrontations to shocking dinner party scenes that left viewers gobsmacked.

Arguably the biggest bombshell came when bride Julia-Ruth confessed to jetting off abroad with groom Joe Wood after both quit the Married At First Sight UK experiment.

During filming, Julia-Ruth was paired with Divarni whilst Joe was matched with Maeve - but neither romance continued to flourish on camera, reports OK!.

The revelation about Joe and Julia-Ruth's secret trip left Maeve and the rest of the cast furious, particularly when it emerged the duo had gotten identical tattoos reading "Why not?" during their getaway.

Julia-Ruth previously defended the permanent body art, explaining: "Here's to permanent ink, permanent mistakes and permanently showing up and owning it."

Now the reality star has been quizzed about whether she plans to have the tattoo lasered off - and her response was brutally honest.

Away from the cameras, Julia-Ruth looks worlds apart from her on-screen appearance as she flaunts a dramatic new hairstyle on social media, completely transforming from the lengthy curls viewers remember.

Posting on her Instagram stories, she's opened up about both the controversial tattoo and where things stand with her original match Divarni.

When asked if she would consider removing her 'why not?' tattoo, the star responded: "To be honest, I think everything happens for a reason...... so I'm not going to get the tattoo removed if I'm honest with you."

Making an admission about Divarni, she further stated: "I'm not going to cover it up. I still wear my wedding ring from Divarni but I wear it on my right hand."

Julie-Ruth explained that despite things not working out, wearing her wedding ring was a reminder of an "still an amazing experience and memory" and she wished Divarni well.

She went on to say: "It (the tattoo) was something I don't regret or something I don't take back, like I'm really glad to have gone through this experience and done what I've done and learnt and grown from it but yeah, I don't know.

"I don't live life trying to erase things that happen, own it, do better and f****** move on. Also it's a tattoo.. to me it's not that deep."

The star also shared her feelings about watching the show back, as it was filmed several months before being aired. She said: "Watching it back was a bit like oof, but yeah I'm currently just in my healing phase so I'm just moving on, moving forward at this stage.

"Spoken to I need to speak to, apologise to who I need to apologise to and now it's just about moving on and going forward."
