Emily Atack is one of the frontrunners to replace Laura Whitmore on Love Island with a source claiming the actress will use her own colourful love life to her advantage if she gets the job

Emily Atack is said to be "flattered' by reports fans want her to replace Laura Whitmore on Love Island.

Laura, 38, quit the plum gig after three years last week and now Emily, 32, is one of the frontrunners to get the job.

The Celebrity Juice star has had her fair share of drama romantically and it's this experience which she'll use to her advantage - according to reports.

A source said: "Emily is flattered by people pushing for her to present Love Island - it would be definitely be a dream gig for her.

"She feels like she could really sympathise with and help the contestants as she struggled to find love herself.

"She's saying 'Watch this space'", reports Closer magazine.

The Mirror has contacted Emily's reps for comment.

With her stunning looks and down-to-earth charm, the star has had no shortage of suitors.

Describing herself as a "hopeless romantic", Emily has been linked to former One Direction star Harry Styles and comedian Seann Walsh - and then there was the Jack Grealish drama.

The pair hit the headlines late last year over their rumoured relationship with Manchester City and England footballer Jack Grealish. allegedly going on “secret dates” with Emily.

But in January, the actress reportedly cut ties with Jack – who has had an on-off relationship with model Sasha Attwood for more than 10 years.

In May the star reflected on life lessons in an interview with Notebook.

She said: “With each year that passes I learn more resilience and gain more strength.

“I stay the same person deep down and I’ve known me for a very long time. But I’ve learned how to deal with other people around me and how to deal with the craziness of the industry I am in."

She added: "I try and stay away from things that aren’t good for me. “It’s hard when you are a little mischievous like me!”

Emily is now said to be dating Big Brother star Liam McGough, 35.

The pair went Instagram official last week when they shared a pic of them enjoying a boozy brunch.

They were also papped at Emily's mum Kate Robbins' show.

The source said Liam is making Emily "incredibly happy" adding that he makes her feel like 'the sexiest woman in the world - no matter her size'.

The star recently shared a body positivity post in which she looked radiant sporting a curve-hugging bikini.

Captioning the snap, she wrote: "Just wear the sodding bikini and have a lovely time".
