There's a huge amount of kissing but also a brutal bust-up. Ah, Love Island, we've missed you.

Love Island is back with the romantic hit/ITV cash cow returning to screens for its third All Stars series and 15th overall (we’re not counting the Noughties ones with Jayne Middlemiss).
It was delayed - by South African wildfires no less - until tonight, when we get to see a cast including Love Island winners Millie Court and Jess Harding return to the villa for another shot at finding love.
Will years on the influencer and brand ambassador circuit leave our heroes and heroines any less thirsty for primetime drama as they battle for survival (and love, don’t forget love)? We wouldn’t bet on it…
Follow along with the Mirror ’s live blog as we bring you all the action from Maya Jama's big series launch - after it was leaked that there is a big bust-up from the get-go…
21:50 - Why did Shaq and Tanya split up?
Shaq has been accused of cheating on Tanya but said before going into the villa that he was planning to spill the beans on the show. In fact, he’s willing to hold a Q&A session.
He said: “If anyone wants to know the truth [about the split] or what happened or anything like that, I have nothing to hide. They can ask me.
“If they want to speak about past relationships or anything like that, then I have nothing to hide. And I’m going to be open and honest about it.”
21:44 - Jamie Downham
Shaq under fire!
Leanne gives ‘good’ to Sean because he’s funny but ‘no good’ to Shaq because she knows his ex. His ex, lest we forget, is Love Island’s Tanya Manhenga. Their romance lasted a year after the villa before things went spectacularly wrong.
21:39 - Belle goes for Ciaran
Ciaran got rejected by Millie but has better luck with Belle, who dubs him a “gentleman”. A gentleman in a ‘no good’ sash. Sean gets the thumbs down because she “can’t do the sweetie lines”. Amen.
21:35 - KEY EVENT
Milie snogs Charlie
The sashes are getting dished out now and we have our first kiss of the series. Millie has given her ‘good’ sash to Charlie who is deemed attractive while the ‘bad one goes to Ciaran for being too young. BAD Ciaran!
Next, Whitney’s ‘good’ is awarded to Tommy for his banter while Jack earns a ‘bad’ for… nothing? She says he should have more tattoos. BAD Jack!
21:33 - Good boy! Bad boy!
There’s now an ‘ice breaker’ going on to make things marginally less awkward. Is it helping? Not particularly - nobody wants to be the one to start.
The girls have to put a ‘good’ sash on the lads they think could be good for them - and kiss them - then a ‘no good’ on the ones that aren’t.
This system could catch on in real life. UK productivity could even get a boost from the sheer number of ‘no good’ sashes being made - you’d need a factory in every town working day and night.
21:32 - Millie Court: "We were utterly in love"
Another Love Island winner is in the villa, with Millie returning to the villa with Shaq. "What made you come back?" asks Maya. Millie replies: "I was single again."
Addressing her (latest) split with Liam Reardon, who she won the show with Millie says: "I had a connection with Liam almost instantly. We were together four years. We were utterly in love together but something things are not meant to be."
Send him in!
21:27 - Daddy Jack in the villa
Here's another one we never expected to see again! Jack Keating, dad and self-confessed ladies' man, is back in the villa. He is, it will not have escaped anyone, the son of Ronan Keating.
How did he react? "He was very happy. I actually didn't tell him until I knew I was definitely going on because he lives abroad now so I don't see him that much," he told The Mirror and other press.
"He's more excited now than he was the last time. I think he was s***ting himself a bit the first time because I had no experience with like media, TV, anything in the spotlight."

21:10 - Romances revealed
Maya Jama asks with all the innocence of someone who hasn’t already been briefed by the producers of the answer: “Do any of you know each other?”
Tommy pipes up saying: “I’ve never met Jess but we've been messaging recently…we tried to meet up a few times.”
Jess replies: “Did we?” Oh…
21:09 - Dig dig dig! Jess slams Sammy
"Some winners do come back to All Stars," says Maya Jama, which seemed to be Jess Harding's prompt to slam Sammy Root repeatedly. "I could have won it by myself," she said, before instantly lifting the lid on the split: "Something happened that wasn't my fault. I broke up with Sammy over the phone. Next!"
21:02 - Here we goooo!
Love Island opening episodes are often slightly awkward affairs but this one promises to be a winner. Whispers suggest there’s a huge bust-up between two former stars.
Stick with us on the Mirror for all the latest drama (and watch it on TV too if you must - it’s on ITV2 and ITVX right this very moment).
20:59 - Maya Jama's launch outfit
If you haven't seen the outfit that All Stars host Maya Jama wore to announce Love Island was (finally, finally) coming back, do take a look. She truly never fails to outshine the contestants (sorry contestants).
20:52 - Ready, muggy, go
For everyone who's just finishing up with The Traitors (that's us) get ready for even more scheming and backstabbing over on ITV2. Here's Helena Ford, Whitney Adebayo, Leanne Amaning, Millie Court and Belle Hassan enjoying the customary £3.99 gold champagne flutes (courtesy: middle aisle of Lidl) in tonight's episode. There's just 8mins now until it all kicks off!
20:46 - Life is indeed a roller coaster
We've seen him once before (albeit very briefly) but Casa Amor lad Jack Keating - son of super singer Ronan Keating - is going back in the villa.
Has anything changed for him since the show? Well yes just a bit. Eight months after leaving Love Island Jack announced he had welcomed his first child, saying he and the baby's mother were not together but co-parenting.
Now he's back in the villa. He's clearly a fan. In fact, his daughter is called Maya. Here the full lowdown on Jack Keating as he heads back into the dating game.
20:41 - Is Maya Jama set to leave Love Island?
20:35 - Jess Harding’s dramatic transformation
Jess, 25 is back but she might look a bit different, having had lip, cheek and chin fillers. Check it out here.
Fans applauded the ‘honesty is the best policy’ approach with one writing cheerfully: “I love the transparency! You're beautiful inside and out!”
20:29 - Abs and mic packs on show
And here are the lads getting lined up on the Love Island launch show tonight in a dazzling display of rippling abs and sound recording technology. Who's getting picked by Millie Court? There's not long until we find out. Love Island All Stars, just to remind you, returns to ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm.
20:22 - First look at tonight's episode
Here's Maya Jama joining in with what looks like an intense grilling, alongside Jess Harding and Whitney Adebayo in a sneak peek at tonight's Love Island, with the trio looking for all the world like they're conducting an X Factor audition at Simon Cowell's mansion during Judges' Houses. It's a no from me.
20:16 - Love Island royalty pick their winners
Villa twins Eve and Jess Gale have been giving us their winning pairs, saying they are both backing their pal Leanne.
They said (speaking in unison we’re going to assume): “Oh my god, let’s see, Belle’s going to be really good, she’ll maybe go with Charlie Frederick. Or Helena and Charlie Frederick - they’ve been teasing each other on Twitter.”
20:11 - Why was Love Island All Stars delayed?
Not much gets in the way of an ITV hit. Remember when I’m A Celeb couldn’t film in Australia because of a global pandemic and decamped the whole operation to a draughty castle in Wales?
Love Island All Stars was all set to get underway on Monday night but got pulled from its slot after the production team were evacuated amid wildfires near Cape Town in South Africa, where the show is filmed.
ITV said at the time: “Further to a production evacuation owing to ongoing wildfires in the area, our assessment of the location site has concluded that filming will need to be postponed.”
20:06 - Who’s who in Love Island All Stars?
The initial Love Islanders - no doubt plenty of other will join them as the series rolls on - are as follows:
GIRLS: Whitney Adebayo, 28, Series 10 Islander
Millie Court , 29, Series 7 Islander

20:00 - What’s in store tonight?
Well it seems we’re in for a lot of love - all the Islanders kiss someone during tonight’s task (you just never get that on The Traitors, do you?) But there’s also a fair bit of war if early whispers are to be believed.
A massive row is set to erupt when the first bombshell joins near the end of tonight’s episode. As The Sun revealed: “Maya Jama actually had to step in to referee the fight it was that bad.”
Right you lot, everyone off for an early bath.
