Not all reality TV feuds were created equal, with the ripple effects of one that unfolded on Selling The OC's last season still felt today.

As viewers gear up for a fourth season of the Selling Sunset spin-off landing on Netflix tomorrow (November 12), fans may notice that one of the cast members embroiled in a dramatic showdown in the last series is absent.

β€Œ

Sean Palmieri found himself at the centre of major drama at the end of Season 3 after claiming his co-star Austin Victoria and his wife Lisa had propositioned him during a visit to their home.

β€Œ

Austin was quick to shut down the rumours which were swirling through the office, though Sean continued to double down on the claims.

It prompted the pair to have a fierce showdown at work which led to Austin physically shoving his co-star in what he has since called his "Will Smith moment".

β€Œ

It left the office divided, with the waters still muddy on what really happened away from the cameras. While Austin has repeatedly denied the allegations brought forward by Sean, Sean continued to share supposed "receipts" of their private texts to his Instagram Stories.

In an interview with Netflix's Tudum after Season 3 wrapped, Austin shared: "Sean and I no longer speak, and I think that’s pretty clear why.

β€Œ

β€œHe made up some really personal lies about myself and then involved my wife, so I had my Will Smith moment and I’ve moved on. Now I’m really focused on just family, work, and giving my children the lives that they deserve. I don’t really have time for that stuff."

While Austin is returning for Season 4 of Selling The OC, Sean won't be back. Discussing his departure from the series with Entertainment Tonight, he shared: "Unfortunately, the Oppenheim Group was not a culture fit for me.

"I’m really excited for the future as I just signed as a partner with an amazing, top-producing team and mentor, Steve Games, previous owner of Prudential California Realty and Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty."

β€Œ

He continued: "Returning to the serene atmosphere of San Diego County, where I first ventured from Florida to California, brings me great joy."

It seems the pair have both now moved on from their feud, with the last mention of it on Austin's Instagram page dating back to May 2024 in which he accused co-star Sean of simply wanting more "screen time." Meanwhile Sean seems to be focussing on his new career path, travel and media appearances.

Selling The OC Season 4 is released on Netflix on November 12
