I'm A Celebrity viewers have noticed that Alex Scott squeezes her necklace every time Ant and Dec enter their camp as a secret signal to girlfriend Jess Glynne

Viewers of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here have noticed that former professional footballer, Alex Scott, is secretly sending signals to her girlfriend Jess Glynne. And this occurs every time hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly enter the jungle.

This is probably due to the fact that it is the only time she's on air live during the episode. Fans have noticed that Alex, who played for England before retiring from the sport, constantly clutches her gold necklace every time Ant and Dec walk into camp.

The sports star, 41, has been more than vocal about her feelings towards the Hold My Hand singer, who she claims she will marry one day. Taking to X, one fan who noticed her signal wrote: "Ok Alex – we see you – necklace twiddle every night at trial selection time your little secret code."

Another person penned: "Love Alex’s signal to Jess, how she plays with her necklace, She must have given it to her." A third person chimed in and said: "Is Alex signalling to Jess when she fiddles with her necklace? She does it every night."

Earlier this week, Jess explained to her fellow campmate Ruby Wax how she first met Jess back in 2023. She said: "She approached me in Chiltern Firehouse… I was in there with my friends and she just walked up to me… It was really ballsy and I was like, ‘I like your ballsiness’."

She added: "The spark was just instant and then yeah…we fell madly in love." Alex then spoke about how Jess enabled her to become more confident in big crowds. as she usually suffered from anxiety.

She went on to explain: "I go inwards in myself in big groups." And it was Jess who encouraged her to come out of her shell more as she told her "show them what I see everyday."

Ruby then probed even further and asked if marriage was on the cards, to which Alex responded firmly. Without question, she said: "I will get married to her, just waiting for her to ask, Rubes!"

Within an instant fans were unable to contain their excitement as Jess posted the biggest hint yet in response to Alex's TV admission. Posting an image of an engagement ring along with a pair of shocked eyes, she wrote: " I better go get a ring."

One fand wrote on X: "Jess Glynne is going to propose to Alex on the I’m bridge isn’t she." Another person said: "Jess is gonna propose to Alex when she leaves I’m A celeb! I am here for this!"

But her relationship is not the only thing Alex has felt comfortable enough to open up about. During last night's episode, she also spoke about the differences between having sex with a man in comparison to a woman.

Speaking to Ruby and Emmerdale's Lisa Riley, she explained: "It’s completely different with women, especially for me. It’s always been about a deep emotional connection which then makes the sex more passionate than ever anyway because you have such a deep bond between you."

She added: "I had relationships with men throughout my life, there was always something missing for me that I never had with a woman."
