A gripping corporate thriller series is set to make a much-anticipated comeback in 2026, following a tantalising sneak peek at the upcoming season. This follows on from fans being treated to a teaser of a "masterpiece" series making a return after a lengthy hiatus, alongside viewers enjoying a "dark" crime thriller and others engrossed in a "gripping" psychological thriller on Netflix, reports the Manchester Evening News.

The returning HBO and BBC TV drama has previously been lavished with praise by fans on IMDb, with one glowing 10/10 review stating: "I love this show, absolutely love it. It gets better and better with each episode and each season. I'm glad it's finally catching on and becoming the hit it should."

Another top-rated review was headlined: "Addictive and Unmissable", with the reviewer elaborating: "I binged the first two seasons over the weekend, and I can honestly say it was some of the best 16 hours I've spent watching TV. I don't usually get hooked on many series, and it's even rarer in the age of TikTok to find something that keeps me from glancing at my phone every few minutes.

"The reviewer concluded: "It's easily one of the best series I've ever watched. If you haven't seen it yet, do yourself a favour and start now. You won't regret it."

While a third 10/10 review was titled: "Surprise Hit for Me", with the viewer explaining: "I was fully captured by the end of the 2nd episode, which started me on a major binge from 9pm until 5am when I had to get up for work at 7am."

One 9/10 star review stated: "Now I'm actually mad at myself for putting it off this long because it's that good of a show. I started watching early last week and binged through all 3 seasons in that time. I just couldn't stop watching it."

They continued by praising how each season surpassed the previous one and expressed excitement for upcoming seasons.

Another 9/10 review likened the programme to "WallStreet and Wolf of WallStreet made into a series" and gushed about the show: "There's twist and turns in every episode that is driven by a superb cast, who really burns through the screen in the best possible way, even their characters are mean or nasty." They concluded: "If you liked Succession you will also love this one."

The HBO and BBC series Industry initially premiered in 2020 and offered a brutal glimpse into the ruthless realm of corporate finance through the perspective of a group of trainees at a London investment bank.

Industry chronicled the young graduates as they plunged into a lavish world of sex, drugs, and money whilst scrambling up the corporate ladder. The core cast features Myha'la, Marisa Abela, Harry Lawtey, Sagar Radia, and Ken Leung. The expansive ensemble also includes Kit Harington, Ben Lloyd-Hughes, Sarah Parish, and Andrew Havill, amongst others.

The series has garnered widespread critical praise throughout its duration, maintaining an impressive 90 per cent fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes.

HBO's 2026 preview reel showcased glimpses of the fourth series, teasing further mayhem in the Square Mile as characters persist in their ruthless pursuit of career advancement, with sexual escapades and excess remaining integral to their existence.

Yasmin Kara-Hanani (Abela) was heard declaring: "Narrative is important, so you might as well control it" before the footage cuts to another character crashing through a glass desk, which splinters beneath them.

Viewers will need to watch the fourth series to discover how events unfold this time. The preview also included footage from The Pitt's second series, House of the Dragon's third instalment, Game of Thrones' additional spin-off A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, Euphoria's third series, and the superhero live-action programme Lanterns.
