Game of Thrones fans are tearing up over the poignant romance flick.

Game of Thrones enthusiasts will be delighted to know that a fan-favourite from the HBO fantasy series stars in a moving romance film, which is now available to watch for free.
As of today, the musical love story of Cyrano, which stars Tyrion Lannister actor Peter Dinklage in the titular role, can be streamed via BBC iPlayer.
Cyrano is a 2021 film directed by Joe Wright, which is based on a 2018 stage musical, which in turn takes inspiration from the original 1897 Edmond Rostand play, Cyrano de Bergerac.
It stars Dinklage in the leading role alongside Haley Bennett, Kelvin Harrison Jr., and Ben Mendelsohn, and has been nominated for various Oscar, BAFTA and Golden Globe awards.
A short synopsis from IMDb reads: “Too self-conscious to woo Roxanne himself, wordsmith Cyrano de Bergerac helps young Christian nab her heart through love letters.”
On Rotten Tomatoes, Cyrano has achieved an impressive 85% critic score and 86% audience score, with the critics’ consensus reading: “Uneven yet ultimately hard to resist, Joe Wright's Cyrano puts a well-acted musical spin on the oft-adapted classic tale.”
Meanwhile, audiences say: “Well acted and beautifully filmed, this version of the classic story is an unusual but enjoyable musical -- and Peter Dinklage is a Cyrano for the ages.
In the Audience reviews section, Game of Thrones fans and musical lovers alike took the time to heap praise on the often overlooked film.
One wrote: “This is Peter Dinklage's greatest performance. The story is romantic and moving, and the emotion displayed by Dinklage feels realistic and impactful.”
Another penned: “The movie is an Absolute Must-See! Absolute Cinema!” (sic)

Dinklage is best known for his role in HBO’s Game of Thrones, which he held throughout the show’s run between 2011 and 2019.
However, he has also appeared in several other high-profile movies, including Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, X-Men: Days of Future Past, Avengers: Infinity War and Wicked.
