This Morning's Dermot O'Leary has shared a moving tribute to staff who were marking their final day on the show, saying: "For some itβs the end of an era." Changes at ITV being enforced in the New Year mean many former This Morning colleagues will be working across all of the daytime line-up including Lorraine and Loose Women with some leaving their individual shows or the company altogether.

The 52-year-old wrote: "A quick word about an incredible team. The last day for many at @thismorning For some itβs the end of an era, for others the start of a new story. I just wanted to say thanks, for all their selfless hard work, going above and beyond to put out two hours plus of TV every day.

"Turning up with professionalism, humour, and good grace every day. Doing what they do in the shadows⦠so we get to dance under those lights. Big love TM x."
This Morning's Rochelle Humes, 36, added: "Absolutely spot on Derm - the best team ever! Echoing everything. I feel so lucky to have spent so much time with the best bunch." Another daytime regular, Jeff Brazier, 46, posted: "Beautifully put."
Her co-star Kate Lawler, 45, wrote: "Big love to everyone at TM! The warmest and friendliest folk in tele, every single one x." Ashley James, 38, said: "Amazing words and I echo everything. Thank you to the best team ever."

Angela Scanlon, 41, who made her This Morning hosting debut last week and was instantly tipped for a permanent presenting job on the show posted a string of clapping hand emojis.
Dermot shared a rare picture of the This Morning set showing the number of lights and cameras rarely shown to viewers, with the staff waving. The show will continue through to the New Year, with a special episode from 10 till 12 on Christmas Day.
In changes to the ITV schedule, Good Morning Britain will be extended by 30 minutes. Lorraine will be slashed to just 30 weeks a year, along with Loose Women, and will also be aired for just 30 minutes instead of a whole hour.
Speaking about the cuts recently, Lorraine Kelly was asked if they were a surprise. She replied: "Not really. I mean, it's kind of indicative of the whole industry, really. I'm just glad that we're still there."
She added: "We've still managed to save some jobs. A lot of my team are going to This Morning. And so yeah, it's not my decision. It wasn't a decision that I made."
