A Celebrity SAS participant has sent out a warning to Channel 4 audiences mere hours ahead of tonight's fresh episode as she is seen breaking down in tears.

The latest series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins made its comeback to Channel 4 earlier this month, featuring a new batch of well-known personalities being tested under extreme conditions.

The celebrities are once more subjected to the gruelling SAS selection regime, overseen by former special forces operatives, though the experience proves particularly demanding for certain individuals - with one star dramatically walking away last week.

Featuring brutal tasks and high-pressure scenarios, the programme has shown itself to be remarkably unforgiving, with one participant already departing the competition this series.

Tonight's episode promises further drama, with one contestant cautioning it will prove a "hard watch". Via Instagram, SAS competitor Gabby Allen posted a moving clip showing herself visibly distressed and struggling to articulate through her emotions, reports OK!

In the footage she explains: "Ever since I was younger I've always been like pushed to be the best at what I've done so when I'm not it's hard." She added: "I don't like failing things."

Accompanying her post, Gabby issued a heads-up regarding this evening's broadcast, scheduled for Channel 4 at 9pm. She penned: "To everybody that has already sent me a message about tonight's episode, thank you.

"This is probably the most vulnerable I have ever shown myself on TV or at all to be honest.

"That mirror room does something to you. One of the reasons I chose to take part in this experience is to show the world that there is more to me than bikinis and dating as wonderful as that is, I have lived a 1000 lives.

"I couldn't even talk about all of them during this time (mainly because clearly I was hyperventilating and couldn't get my words out) but also there's so much to unpack I'd need a day in there."

She continued: "But what I will say, this experience taught me so much about myself in such a short amount of time and as hard as it was, it has impacted my life now, daily.

"I also want to say, I was always pushed because my parents, school, my dance teachers, my grand parents BELIEVED in me and I showed potential. It was always done with love and confidence in me and I am grateful for all of it.

"I am the best possible version of myself BECAUSE of their belief in me. Anyway, it's going to be a hard watch and I'd love for you to join me."

Fans responded emotionally to her candid revelation, with one admitting they'd need "tissues" before tuning in: "Oh god I need to go out and buy some tissues and take my mascara off before I watch it.

"Watching you share this is powerful. You've always been so much more than what people see on the surface, and I'm really proud of you for showing that. Always remember you never need to prove yourself to be valued or loved! You already very much are!".
