The Abandons is landing on Netflix shortly, with the drama from executive producer Christopher Keyser boasting an impressive ensemble cast.
Taking place in Washington Territory in 1854, the show will appeal to Yellowstone enthusiasts as it chronicles the matriarchs of two rival families - the Van Nesses and the Abandons.
The Van Nesses represent a dynasty built on wealth and privilege, whilst the Abandons are a chosen family of orphans and outcasts, fiercely defended by a single leader.
Both clans learn their destinies are intertwined by two criminal acts, with the Netflix drama "echoing the perpetual American struggle between the haves and have-nots".

When is The Abandons out?
The complete series drops on December 4, allowing viewers to binge-watch every episode.
Speaking to Tudum, Keyser said: "In the middle of murder and revenge and a bit of illicit romance, we get to explore questions we never seem to get away from: What makes a family?
"How do you stay good in a bad world? And would you change who you are and what you believe in to protect what you love?
"But in this case, we do it all through the eyes of Lena Headey and Gillian Anderson, as two widowed matriarchs battling to survive. And that ... is really something to watch."
Who is in the cast of The Abandons?
The Abandons are headed by Fiona Nolan, portrayed by Game of Thrones star Lena Headey. Her group consists of the devoted Elias Teller (Nick Robinson), the spirited Dahlia Teller (Diana Silvers), the level-headed Albert Mason (Lamar Johnson) and the fiercely loyal Lilla Belle (Natalia del Riego).
The powerful Van Ness family is led by Constance, portrayed by The Fall and The X Files star, Gillian Anderson. The Van Ness clan features her ambitious son Garret (Lucas Till), rebellious daughter Trisha (Aisling Franciosi) and the eldest son Willem (Toby Hemingway).

Is there a trailer for The Abandons?
An official trailer dropped at the beginning of November, revealing Headey and Anderson as the two matriarchs going head to head.
The dramatic trailer warns "some bonds are stronger than blood" as audiences discover the extremes the families will reach to protect their own.
Fans rushed to the comments to share their reactions, with @crazycat690 saying: "Lena Headey and Gillan Anderson facing off in a western? Damn, never new I wanted it, now I need it."
Twitter user @megalon73 expressed their excitement, saying: "Gillian Anderson and Lena Headey in the same film together. I'm down to watch."
The Abandons will be available for streaming on Netflix from 4 December.
