And Bournemouth looked to be heading for defeatuntil Bondbrought on Sappleton.
Thestriker, on loan from Leicester City, smashed in from the edge of the box to earn a point. But Bournemouth thought they should have had a penalty late on when Lewis Chalmers appeared to handle on the line.
Referee Andy D'Urso waved play on, however, much to Bond's anger.
He fumed: "It looked like the most blatant handball I've ever seen.
"I thought it was ridiculously blatant but he decided in his wisdom that it wasn't a penalty."
Shots' boss Gary Waddock had no complaints and added: "The players could not do any more than they did.
"They are a young group and learning all the time.
It was a great game to watch but a shame we did not win."
