With the two teams set to compete in a mammoth Thanksgiving Day contest, it has been revealed that Odell Beckham Jr will visit both the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys

Odell Beckham Jr is set to hold visits with both the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys before he decides on his future - but both teams want to ensure his knee is fully rehabilitated before they commit to a deal with the star receiver.

Beckham is the top free agent available and could prove to be a key addition for any team hoping to go on a deep run into the NFL Playoffs. The 30-year-old signed for the Los Angeles Rams last year and starred, scoring seven touchdowns en route to the team winning Super Bowl LVI.

Back in February during the Super Bowl, Beckham was well on his way to being MVP of the Super Bowl when he tore his ACL during the Rams’ win over the Cincinnati Bengals. It was originally reported the charismatic receiver would find a team in mid-November, but it is now believed he will sign with a franchise after Thanksgiving.

Multiple teams have expressed interest in Beckham’s services, including the Buffalo Bills, the Green Bay Packers and the Kansas City Chiefs. However, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport has revealed Beckham is closest to a reunion with the Giants - the team that drafted him in the first round back in 2014 - or a move to the Cowboys, their NFC East rivals.

Beckham is expected to officially visit both the Giants and the Cowboys after Thanksgiving, but it’s not a straightforward visit to simply file the paperwork for a signing. As the receiver is coming off his second ACL, teams want to do their due diligence and ensure his knee is in good shape amid reports it is better than this stage last year.

It should come as no surprise that Beckham is primarily pursued by both the Giants and the Cowboys. He tallied plenty of production during his spell in New York, while he often enjoyed some of his finest performances in his career against Dallas, registering 558 yards, seven touchdowns and his iconic catch as a rookie.

The Cowboys have employed a public courting of Beckham recently, with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones recently referring to Beckham’s talent as an ‘additive’ that could help take the Cowboys offence to the next level. The three-time Pro Bowler worked his magic last season when he helped the Rams to Super Bowl glory, and Jones clearly believes he could do the same for Dallas.

Both the Cowboys and the Giants sit at 7-3 with both teams enjoying spectacular seasons while they seek to navigate an incredibly competitive NFC East. The two teams face off against one another on Thanksgiving Day in a blockbuster clash.
