Chicago sports reporter made an unfortunate slip of the tongue after a Chicago Blackhawks NHL playoff game earlier this week

Sports reporter for TV station CSN Chicago Susannah Collins unwittingly became an overnight internet sensation when her unfortunate slip on air ended up being the subject of YouTube videos across the net.

Following the Chicago Blackhawks' 2-1 victory in their playoff series opener with the Minnesota Wild on Wednesday night, the CSN crew wrapped up the night's action, and threw down to Collins outside the Blackhawks dressing room.

"The second season starts tonight and this Blackhawks team is ready," she started confidently.

"All season long they have been saying this is the season that matters."

Then came the moment that saw her clip posted across the internet.

Collins, who recently had a memorable interview at a Blackhawks game with the A-Team legend Mr T, continued: "And despite the fact that they've had such a tremendous amount of sex during the reg..." before correcting herself and continuing with a brief roll of the eyes.

She saw the funny side, though, and after the broadcast tweeted:

"Thanks for laughing along with me & my "tremendous" slip, guys. Who couldn't use a good chuckle every now & then right?? #Whoops!"
