West Ham boss Sam Allardyce wants Real Madrid ‘reserve’ striker Joselu – but he will have to shell out £7million to land him.

Allardyce has asked the Spanish giants about the 22-year-old, who is a star of their B team but will be sold this summer for the right price.

The Hammers chief first asked to take him on loan, but that request has been turned down – so now Allardyce will have to stump up the cash.

Skilful and 6ft 3in tall, Joselu looks ideal for the Premier League and is at a stage where he must move on to further his career.

He made just one appearance for Real’s first team last season – scoring as a late substitute in a cup tie.
