Southampton are keen on FC Twente’s Mexico international forward Jesus Corona, who is valued at Β£2.5million.

Corona, 21, has a buy-out clause in his contract with the Dutch club and is gaining a reputation as a quick player who sets up chances.

The Saints have already β€Žhad great success with Dusan Tadic, who was signed from Twente in the summer for Β£10.9m and has contributed six assists and one goal in 12 league games.

Boss Ronald Koeman is also Dutch, and brought Southampton's new star striker Graziano Pelle with him from Fyenoord when he took charge in the off-season.
