Real Madrid are hoping to lure Trent Alexander-Arnold AND three other top Premier League stars to the Bernabeu next summer, it has emerged.
β
The Spanish giants are long-term admirers of Alexander-Arnold, 25, whose future at Liverpool remains uncertain. The right-back is in the final year of his deal and is free to talk to overseas clubs in January.
β
But while Real Madrid's interest in Alexander-Arnold is nothing new, it's been revealed they are also keeping an eye on other players in England.
β
That includes Rodri, who is believed to be keen on returning to his native Spain at some point in the future and Los Blancos are said to be keeping a keen eye on the hearing into Manchester City's alleged financial wrongdoing which started this week.

The top brass at Bernabeu also have their eye on William Saliba and Cristian Romero. There is a desire to strengthen at centre-back and Saliba is viewed as a player capable of being the 'future of their defence'.
β
There is also, however, an acceptance that the Frenchman could be difficult to attain given Arsenal's upward trajectory. As such, Tottenham's Romero has been identified as an alternative option.

While it remains to be seen if any of Real Madrid's targets will end up swapping the Premier League for La Liga, there has been little in the way of updates on Alexander-Arnold's future.
The article states that he is continuing to 'assess' the post-Jurgen Klopp era at Anfield and that he speaks regularly with his friend Jude Bellingham, who joined Real Madrid last summer.
β
New Liverpool boss Arne Slot recently confirmed that he had nothing new to say in regards to the future of Alexander, Mohamed Salah or Virgil van Dijk, all of whom are out of contract at the end of the season.
The Dutchman said last week: βAgain, Iβll give the boring answer, which youβre going to get from me as long as thereβs no news about this, but we donβt talk about contract situations over here.β
