Rasmus Hojlund is seemingly on the way out at Manchester United after the arrivals of three new attackers this summer, and he was left out of the squad for the defeat to Arsenal

AC Milan have confirmed their interest in Rasmus Hojlund - but there are two major hurdles to overcome. Milan sporting director Igli Tare told Mediaset: “Hojlund is a good option for us. We are thinking about him, but in the transfer market, you never know what could happen.”
The Italian giants are also interested in Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic but the clubs have reached a stalemate over the fee and his contract. That is the reason behind their interest in Manchester United misfit Hojlund but Milan still face a battle to convince the Denmark striker to give up on Old Trafford.
United boss Ruben Amorim admitted Hojlund was left out for his club’s opener with Arsenal and he must now choose whether to stay and fight for his place or leave.
United are keen to do a deal to help balance the books after a £200m spending spree on a new forward line of Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.

However, Hojlund has struggled badly at Old Trafford and he is surplus to requirements but he may be reluctant to leave with United keen on a permanent deal - they want closer to £35m - but would also entertain a loan.
Vlahovic has been Milan’s No1 target with Juventus ready to offload him but it now remains to been whether that deal could be reignited.
There is a belief that Milan could ultimately prefer Vlahovic but have become frustrated in their attempts - and yet he is still a big option.
That now also goes for Hojlund who did enough in Italy to convince United to sign him and that may help to persuade him to go back to Serie A with AC Milan.
Meanwhile Roma are threatening to pull the plug on a £20m deal for Jadon Sancho. The Italian giants are keen on the Manchester United misfit but are ready to give him an ultimatum after becoming frustrated with negotiations.
Sancho, 25, is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford and a £20m deal has been agreed for a loan with an obligation to buy the England international. But Sancho’s £250,000-a-week wages have been a major sticking point as the winger does not want to take a financial hit.
It would also appear by the long, drawn out negotiations that he has some reservations about moving to Italy and another loan move after joining Chelsea and former club Borussia Dortmund on loan during his nightmare spell at United.
