Noussair Mazraoui is currently unavailable for Manchester United due his commitments at the African Cup of Nations and his future at Old Trafford has now been called into question

Manchester United star Noussair Mazraoui is said to be a transfer target for Italian giants Juventus, who have rekindled their interest in the talented defender.
The Morocco international was previously on the radar of the Serie A side last summer, just one year after he decided to move to Old Trafford. He remains under contract until 2028, albeit the Red Devils have an option to extend his stay by a further campaign. But it appears that a decision is set to be taken over his long-term future at Old Trafford.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have renewed their interest in Mazraoui just six months after adding him to their shortlist. The Serie A giants want to add to their fullback options and see the former Ajax star as an ideal candidate.
Despite that, they have a number of options. Genoa defender and former Arsenal star Brooke Norton-Cuffy is also a player of interest, while another candidate is Bayern Munich’s Sacha Boey.

The right-back was signed in a £12.8m move from Bayern Munich in 2024 under the stewardship of Erik ten Hag.
He has since made 66 appearances for the Red Devils - albeit only nine of those have come this season, with six coming as starts. Mazraoui will also not appear for United this weekend, with the defender still with Morocco at the African Cup of Nations.
His side took on Bryan Mbeumo’s Cameroon in the quarter finals on Friday, with Morocco securing a 2-0 success. Asked if either player could be available for Sunday’s FA Cup third round tie with Brighton, caretaker boss Darren Fletcher said: “I don’t think so.

“I think it’s too close a turnaround, so we’ll have the same players available for the game as we had against Burnley. So no new additions and, yeah, Bryan and Nous will not be available for the game.”
Mazraoui is not the only United star who is earning admiring glances from Italy. Joshua Zirkzee is being eyed by Roma but it appears that an exit is now off the cards following the sacking of Ruben Amorim.
Roma chief Frederic Massara has claimed that United chiefs have cancelled all negotiations for Zirkzee. He said: “With regards to Zirkzee, at this moment Manchester United have completely closed off any discussion about the transfer market, as with the change of coach, they don’t want any movement. So it seems very improbable that they’ll change their minds.”
