Time is running out for Liverpool to make some major moves in the January transfer window.
β
Liverpool have not spent much since Arne Slot arrived, with Federico Chiesa their only real summer signing. There have been some outgoings this month though, with goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga joining Fluminense and midfielder Thomas Hill joining Harrogate.
β
Defender Calvin Ramsay has also joined Kilmarnock on loan for the remainder of the season, while winger Kaide Gordon has seen his loan spell at Norwich brought to an end. It remains to be seen if Liverpool make any moves to strengthen their first-team this month, particularly given they are still in contention for four trophies.

With all that in mind, Mirror Football takes a look at the latest transfer news and rumours surrounding Anfield.

Paris Saint-Germain are ready to 'do everything' to try and sign Liverpool, according to French outlet L'Equipe.
Salah is out of contract at the end of the season and also has interest from the Saudi Pro League. However, it is claimed that PSG will pull out all the stops in an attempt to bring Salah to Paris this summer.
β
This is despite the fact PSG have already strengthened their forward line this month after forking out around Β£60million to sign winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli.
Elliott's transfer decision
Harvey Elliott had been linked with a move away from Liverpool this month, but the midfielder has insisted he will not be going anywhere.
β
Elliott has yet to make a Premier League or Champions League start for Liverpool this season, but he does not want to leave Anfield. "I think it's pretty clear to be honest⦠I'm not leaving," Elliott told Amazon Prime after scoring in their 2-1 win over Lille.
"I said it in an interview the other day, this is my team, this is my club, I'm a massive fan and we are in a great position so far this season. It [speculation] is always going to happen in January, especially after being out for a long time and not really playing as much as I want to, but that's football."

Doak to stay
Middlesbrough boss Michael Carrick has confirmed that Ben Doak will remain at the Championship club for the remainder of the season.
The Liverpool loanee had been linked with a permanent transfer this month, with the likes of Ipswich, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth all said to be interested in his services. However, the deadline has now passed for Liverpool to recall Doak and means he will stay on loan at Middlesbrough.
"The deadline has passed for Ben," Carrick said after Doak scored in their 2-0 win over West Brom. "I said all along I was calm! Obviously we're really happy heβs here, but genuinely, it hasn't been a big thing for us. He showed again tonight how dangerous he is and then scored a terrific goal."
