Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew is considering a deadline day move for Middlesbrough's Lee Tomlin - with Barry Bannan set to depart Selhurst Park.
Tomlin, 26, has also caught the eye of West Brom and Burnley scouts this season after his move to Middlesbrough last summer.
Winger Tomlin was Boro's FA Cup hero of their win at Manchester City last month and is now on Pardew's radar.
Bannan meanwhile is free to head out of Selhurst Park on a deadline-day loan.
Eagles chief Pardew had been reluctant to lose Bannan, 25, as he needed midfield cover.

But the imminent return of Mile Jedinak and Yannick Bolasie from international duty provides Pardew with options.
Jordon Mutch's £4.75million arrival has also shunted the Scottish international further down the pecking order.
Bannan is desperate for game-time and is set to be offered out to Championship clubs.
Ex-boss Neil Warnock rebuffed moves from Nottingham Forest and Leeds in December and they could both reignite their interest.
