Premier League new boys Brighton are plotting a second Bundesliga raid, for Hertha Berlin midfielder Genki Haraguchi.

Haraguchi, who is about to enter the final year of his contract, has already instructed his representatives to hold talks with the Seagulls.

The Japanese international has scored four goals in 84 games since joining Hertha from Urawa Reds in 2014.

Brighton boss Chris Hughton is looking to rebuild his squad after leading the south coast side into the top-flight for the first time in 34 years.

Hughton has already splurged £3million for Ingolstadt midfielder Pascal Gross.
