Stoke have checked out the availability of £3million-rated Belgian international striker Moussa Dembele, of Dutch champions AZ Alkmaar.
Dembele, 22, netted 10 times last season as AZ took the title under Louis van Gaal and attracted the attention of some of Europe's top clubs.
Meanwhile, LEICESTER have approached Stoke about taking defender Andrew Davies on loan until the end of the season.
