Marcus Rashford uploaded a picture of himself in floods of tears after Manchester United won the FA Cup, telling fans on Instagram - 'That's what the club means to me'.

Rashford has endured a difficult season at Old Trafford and has been linked with a summer exit, with Paris Saint-Germain keeping tabs on the forward. His poor form saw him snubbed by Gareth Southgate for the Euros.

Pundits and fans alike have questioned Rashford's commitment to Man United in recent months, but the striker made his feelings clear both on the Wembley pitch and on Instagram following the Red Devils' 2-1 win over Man City.

"People want to know what Man United means to me!" wrote Rashford on social media, alongside a picture of himself applauding the travelling Red Devils supporters, while in floods of tears.

One response to the post read: "The real fans know it mate. Great cross ball today and wishing you the best next season HERE at Manchester United," while another said: "Love you Rashy. Proud of you regardless, you'll be back stronger and better next season."

Erik ten Hag spoke out about Rashford ahead of the FA Cup final, in what has been a difficult week for the forward, who will not be travelling to Germany this summer to represent England.

"He looks good and that is the career with ups and downs so a down can also be fuel, that is what I see in training," said the Dutchman. "He will be highly motivated, he is highly talented. He has already a big career. I am sure he will get over this and get even more goals."

Rashford wasn't among the goals against Man City but he played an integral part of the win, with Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo on target for the Red Devils. Jeremy Doku netted a late consolation.
