Manchester United have no plans to sign Philippe Coutinho, despite the Brazilian reportedly being offered to the Red Devils.
Coutinho is set to return to Barcelona in the summer following his failed loan spell to Bayern Munich.
Barcelona were hoping Bayern would trigger a clause to make the loan deal permanent, which would have seen them recoup £110million.
But the German giants, who paid £8million to loan Coutinho for the season, have no plans to sign the midfielder permanently.
Barcelona boast the most expensive wage bill of any team in the world, and need to sell players in the summer to stay afloat.

Recent reports claimed everyone at the club is in contention to be sold except Lionel Messi, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, and Frenkie de Jong.
First on the list to sell is Coutinho, and Barcelona have been offering the Brazilian to potential suitors ahead of the summer window.
Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham have all been notified, and ESPN report that Coutinho has also been offered to Manchester United.
The report adds that the Red Devils have no intention of signing Coutinho though, despite them being in a relatively good position financially.

Ed Woodward and co. have their heart set on signing Dortmund's Jadon Sancho.
The Englishman had been tipped to make a £100million transfer to United prior to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
But this figure could now be much smaller due to the impact the global crisis has had on the transfer market.
