Manchester United have been on an impressive run of form in the Premier League and one of Ruben Amorim's top performers has been singled out by Teddy Sheringham

Manchester United icon Teddy Sheringham has praised the recent displays of new signing Matheus Cunha during the Red Devils' impressive unbeaten streak. United are presently four matches without defeat in the Premier League.
Their winning run came to a halt at Nottingham Forest on Saturday as Amad's stunning volley secured a share of the spoils. The previous week, Cunha netted his first goal for his new club in the 4-2 triumph over Brighton and Hove Albion.
This rounded off what had been a strong month for the Brazilian who caught the eye of many in the centre-forward role at Liverpool. Speaking to Oddspedia, Sheringham was full of praise for Cunha's performances for United.
"Yes, the tenacity that Matheus Cunha has is definitely needed for a professional footballer to get to the next level," he explained.
"He certainly has that for me - I've really liked watching him over the past three or four games.
"He seemed like he's found his place in the team – I don't know whether someone has spoken to him about stepping up to the plate and taking on that mantle of being the focal point of the team, but he's definitely taken that on in the last month.
"He could be the difference between United being an average team and a very good team. Long may his form continue."
Sheringham's admiration for Cunha mirrors the sentiments of boss Ruben Amorim, who highlighted the Brazilian's importance to the squad earlier in the campaign.
"He's a loud guy that's really important in this moment," the Portuguese manager said.
"When he's upset, you can feel it in the environment and that's good. When you play some games and he loses, he's a different guy, and that's good.
"He has some characteristics that we miss last season, so I'm really happy with him and the other guys."
Both Amorim and United supporters will be hoping Cunha maintains his impressive displays when the Reds head to Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday for the lunchtime fixture.
