Ruben Amorim is ready to play his big hitters as Manchester United look to upset the odds when they travel to Arsenal in the FA Cup as he targets a trophy which could salvage the club's season

Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim will hand goalkeeper Altay Bayindir a rare outing when the Red Devils take on Arsenal in the FA Cup.

The clash at the Emirates is the blockbuster tie of the third round and brings back memories of some of the competition's most iconic games. United themselves are looking to defend the FA Cup they won when they upset the odds less than a year ago at Wembley.
β
The Manchester outfit head to London after an impressive away day showing at Liverpool, where they were unlucky not to take all three points. Whilst some top clubs have opted to rotate their teams for cup outings, Amorim looks set to go with nearly all his big hitters.
β
He confirmed in the build-up that he would be giving his Turkish shot stopper the chance to play ahead of usual No 1 Andre Onana. Otherwise the Manchester outfit are poised to bring out all of their big hitters with Amad Diallo, Kobbie Mainoo and Bruno Fernandes all tipped to play.

βSo it doesnβt make sense to rest players now, for both of the games here, so we have to put out the best team and we have to follow the last performance. Now we are rotating less, although sometimes I have had to choose fresh legs. Now I feel they are at the same level.
β
He also added: βWe want to win the FA Cup and you never know what can happen in this type of competition. Sometimes itβs better to win this type of game, so my focus now is day by day and we just want to win this tie.β
A trophy would go a long way to salvaging United's season. Amorim has already made a visit to Emirates during his relatively brief tenure with the Red Devils going down 2-0 as Arsenal made good on their set-piece prowess, which as been a problem for United for the past 12 months.
β
United have made the last two finals of the FA Cup but if they want to make that three on the bounce they need to address their recent struggles on the red side of north London. They haven't won in their last seven visits and have to go back to an FA Cup game in 2019 to recall their most recent victory.
Man Utd predicted line-up: Bayindir; De Ligt, Maguire, Martinez; Mazraoui, Ugarte, Mainoo, Dalot; Amad, Hojlund, Fernandes.
