They face Nottingham Forest tonight and Elland Road skipper Liam Bridcutt said: β€œDefeats are rare for us these days, so losing at Oakwell was a bitter disappointment.

β€Œ

β€œWe didn’t expect it, and it’s hard to put your finger on why it happened because we went there having given one of our best performances of the season in beating Derby the previous game.

β€Œ

β€œWe had been on a great run, winning five out of six before going to Barnsley, and now we are determined to put things right against Forest.

β€œWe have proved so often in the past that we have the character and quality to get straight back on track after a loss, and that’s what we aim to do again.”

Forest are bidding to pull clear from relegation trouble with three points in West Yorkshire.

They sit five points clear of the drop zone currently and can leapfrog Wolves, QPR and Cardiff into 16th place with victory.
