Steven Gerrard’s new LA Galaxy teammates can’t wait for the former England captain to arrive as they continue their championship push.
A 5-0 win over the Portland Timbers on Wednesday has the Galaxy - who won the MLS title last December - just one point off the top of the Western Conference.
“We’ve turned it around this season and are playing well, so it would be nice to have him,” full-back Robbie Rogers told MirrorSport.
“I’ve watched him play a ton of times, all the guys have.
"I’m excited, we’re all excited to have someone of his experience and class every day.”

“We can cope with new players coming in,” said Rogers.
“We’ve had these players arrive with huge personalities, like David Beckham, Landon Donovan and Robbie [Keane], so we’re prepared for it - but it will still be inspiring.”
