Craig Shakespeare will discover this week if he has landed the job of Leicester manager on a full-time basis.
β
He recorded his second win in six days against Hull yesterday to follow on from the triumph against Liverpool last Monday.
β
Former England manager Roy Hodgson has been strongly linked with the task of following Claudio Ranieri.
β
But Shakespeare revealed he will meet the clubβs Thai owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha and the board this week to discuss his future.

His chances will have been boosted by the victory yesterday which took Leicester to 15th place β and had the crowd at the King Power Stadium singing his name.
β
Shakespeare said: β I was told the remit was the Liverpool game and then Hull. I have been told now β and I am quite comfortable with it β that we will have a talk towards the end of the week.
βThe challenge we asked of the players was to put back-to-back wins together. We showed great character and resilience today to bounce back from going one down.β
As for the crowd support, Shakespeare said: βItβs always nice. It means you must be doing something right. They appreciated the ladsβ efforts.

βThe owners will make the decision that is best for the club. Until I talk to them, I donβt know what their thoughts are.
β
βBut I am quite comfortable with that. I canβt control it so there is no point in me worrying about it.
βThis is the first time I have had two games as a manager so there was a
bit of trepidation going into it.β
As for the Foxesβ change in form, Shakespeare said: βIt is not a strange thing in football. I have been involved in the game since I left school and I know it can happen.β
