The New Jersey Nets are in London for their warm-up game against the Miami Heat tomorrow - but let's hope none of them get separated from their tour guide. The players were quizzed about the English language before they arrived and gave some amazing answers.

When asked what a "brolly" was, the basketball stars gave replies ranging from "a back massage", "directions" and "a giant baguette-like sandwich".

More worrying perhaps, was forward Ryan Anderson's reply after being asked if he knew what a lift was. A confident Anderson said: "I know this one. If I wanted to go to a lift it would mean going to the bathroom."
