Notts County's Adam Tann escaped a broken leg in an incident which saw Macclesfield striker Gareth Evans sent off.
Tann had needed treatment on the pitch for nearly five minutes after Evans' tackle but a scan yesterday revealed his leg had not been fractured.
But Macclesfield manager Keith Alexander (above) insisted: "I don't think there was any malice in the challenge."
Delroy Facey had given County a second-half lead before Simon Yeo levelled.
