SWINDON 1

CARLISLE 1

Swindon were left shattered by Paul Thirlwell's late leveller.

Managerless Town were on their way to a muchneeded win after Anthony McNamee's cross was turned into his own net by Carlisle's Peter Murphy.

But Thirlwell struck with just three minutes left to snatch a point for United.

Swindon caretaker boss David Byrne said: "We didn't keep going as required. My name is in the hat to take this job full-time but this is a results business - just ask Roy Keane!"
