England were stunned by Australia batter, Travis Head, as he made a breath-taking 123 to turn the tables in the first Ashes Test with the home side winning inside two days.

Everything you need to know as England collapse in the second innings before Australia complete a stunning eight-wicket win in the first Ashes Test match in Perth.
- England: 172 (first innings) and 164 (second innings) are beaten by Australia: 132 (first innings) and 205-2 (second innings) by eight wickets.
- Australia completed a stunning comeback win first Ashes Test in Perth after an unbelievable Day Two in Perth. Travis Head led the charge with the bat - scoring a brilliant attacking 123.
- Scott Boland and Mitchell Starc did the damage with the ball for Australia, with the latter making it 10 wickets for the match as Australia were set 205 for the win. Starc dismissed Joe Root and Ben Stokes in quick-succession after his seven-wicket haul in the first innings.
- England wicket-keeper Jamie Smith was controversially given out after a lengthy DRS review. It took five minutes for officials to change their mind after he was initially given not out when snicking one down the leg-side to Alex Carey off Aussie debutant Brendan Doggett.
- A bright start from Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope with the bat looked to be putting England in a dominant position, especially after that took the honours on Day One. However, the Aussie bowlers ripped through England's middle order before taking the fight to them with the bat - winning inside two days.
- Brydon Carse (2-44) grabbed up the only two wickets for England in Australia's second innings - removing debutant Jake Weatherald for a decent 23. Head, who was out shortly before the winning line was passed, was well-supported by Marnus Labuschagne (51no).
