TYSON FURY admits new trainer Chris Johnson is on trial tonight after he sacked uncle Hughie Fury for family reasons.
The British heavyweight champion defends his Commonwealth belt against unbeaten Canadian Neven Pajkic at Event City in Manchester after changing his corner team.
Fury, the 6ft 9in hometown favourite, has been prepared for this fight by Canadian Johnson who won a bronze medal at the 1992 Olympics.
The unbeaten 23-year-old Brit claims he had to change trainers because he was always arguing with Hughie, who he had been with since his professional debut three years ago.
He said: โIโm working with Chris at the gym in Morecambe for this fight and weโll see after that.
โIt wasnโt really boxing-related with Hughie. We were just always arguing, we werenโt getting along. But we are family and I didnโt want to fall out over a stupid boxing match.
โBut Chris is Canadian like my opponent and he knows a bit about him.โ
