BOSTON and Shrewsbury had to make do with a share of the spoils at York Street.

The game sparked into life after 25 minutes when Richard Logan put Shrews ahead with a low deflected 20-yard drive. Boston hit back on 31 minutes, when Jason Lee headed home Courtney Pitt's fine delivery.

But three minutes later, Ben Smith cashed in on a weak Lee Beevers back-pass to restore the visitors' lead, only for Boston to level again in the 42nd minute when Andy Kirk fired home after good work from Chris Holland.

Lee had a 55th-minute strike ruled out, and late on Lee Thompson and Paul Ellender went close for the home side.
