A woman has died following a dog attack in Western Australia. The woman, in her 20s, was found dead following the incident on Sunday, November 30.
Police were called to reports of a dog attack in Fitzroy Crossing, a town about 2,400 kilometres north of Perth, at around 12pm. When officers got to the scene the woman was found dead.
A man in his 20s was also taken to Fitzroy hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Police officers confirmed that two dogs were involved in the attack.
Western Australian police are carrying out inquiries following the incident. A spokesperson for Western Australian Police Force said: "About 12pm on Sunday 30 November 2025, police responded to reports of a dog attack in Fitzroy Crossing.
"Upon arrival, officers sadly located a woman in her 20s, deceased. A man in his 20s was conveyed to Fitzroy hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
"Rangers from the Shire of Derby/West Kimberley assisted with the removal of the two dogs. Inquiries remain ongoing and a report will be prepared for the coroner."
The attack comes after another dog attack in Australia left a man in critical condition last month. A 54-year-old was attacked by several dogs in Sydney's west on Thursday, November 6.
