Japanese beauty is innovative and fresh, now J-beauty may have just solved an issue which we had no idea existed. There are some days when you want to leave the house without a scrap of makeup on because you just can't be bothered, but now a genius invention might mean you won't need any on.

On Instagram, @itsgracechin shared she's been "obsessed" with "makeup glasses" recently, which "launched in a popular eyewear store in Japan". For those who have no idea about what makeup glasses are, they're specs which give the illusion of the wearer having blush or concealer on! Genius!

Grace said they're "perfect for that makeup no makeup look" as she modelled them in her video – and they look so chic! She claimed her favourites were the orange-tinted ones.

In her caption, she wrote: "It comes in two types of makeup, blush and concealer. The blush glasses give off such a natural colour to your cheeks, and the concealer glasses actually made my eye bags less visible.

"My favourites for the blush glasses were the 'Orange Red' and the 'Pink'. Meanwhile, the 'Airy Purple' concealer glasses worked the best at concealing my eye bags!

"It really depends on what your skin tone is, so make sure to try them all out before buying."

She explained she found them at Jins Japan in Tokyo with no signs of them in the UK yet, but explained: "I’m sure they have this range of glasses in all of their stores all over Japan."

"They're perfect for those days where you want to leave the house bare-faced but still [want to look like you] have some light makeup on."

What's more, if you need a prescription for your glasses, you can get them "ready in 50 minutes" at Jins Eyewear.

In the comments, a woman joked: "Japan solving problems you didn’t know even existed."

Another wrote: "This is so cute! I wish I had found more frame shapes. Rounded frames are the most popular in Japan."

"Japan is living in the future," somebody shared.

However, for those with prescriptions, some have pointed out it depends on how "complicated" your prescription is, and those who have a tricky prescription to make may leave disappointed.

One person said: "Sometimes it could be 30 minutes, just depends on how complicated your prescription is, sometimes it could be a few days."

Another explained they went to get these glasses the day before they flew back to New Zealand, and were told it would be "a week" before she was able to collect them.

If you are in Japan and looking for these glasses with a prescription, it's best to check at the start of your trip so you don't leave feeling disappointed.
