Charlotte Bronte could be the most romantic writer to have ever lived.
The Yorkshire lass was responsible for love story supreme Jane Eyre, along with Shirley, Villette and The Professor.
She was born in Thornton, near Bradford, in 1816 and would have been 200 years old today.
Quotes from her work are regularly used for weddings, speeches and in love letters.
