Bulwell: Cordon set up after three pedestrians injured in crash
Three pedestrians have been stuck by a car on a busy road after a driver suffered a medical emergency at the wheel.
Emergency services rushed to the scene in Bulwell, Nottinghamshire at lunchtime. Police officers shut the road after the crash. A visibly damaged car can be seen within a huge police cordon outside a Home Bargain branch on Main Street.
Three ambulances were called to the scene, East Midlands Ambulance Service said. Three people were taken to Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham, but there are no updates on the conditions of the injured pedestrians, or the motorist.

"At the moment, we believe the driver has suffered a medical episode at the wheel. The road is expected to be closed for some time while investigations take place. People are being advised to find alternative routes and avoid the area."

Dylan Lewis))It is closed from the junction with Station Road to Highbury Road, according to Nottingham Travelwise - the city's traffic control centre. Traffic monitoring service Inrix said traffic is now queueing from Jennison Street to Ravensworth Road.
The incident comes after a pensioner in his 80s, was hit by a car on the road in April. He was taken to hospital with none life-altering or life-threatening injuries and was allowed home days later.
