Cyber Monday is well known as being an extension of the Black Friday sales period, and this year falls it on 30 November.
The huge sale bonanza is a chance for shoppers to pick up hugely discounted deals across all categories, ranging from electrical appliances and technology to fashion and beauty.
Generally, most major retailers like Amazon, Currys PC World and Argos will run discounts from Black Friday right through to Cyber Monday, and sometimes for even longer.
In 2019 price cuts were featured on coveted Apple iPhone 11 and Nintendo Switch Lite consoles and top fashion retailers like Topshop and ASOS launched special one-off discount codes for up to 30% off.

Why is it called Cyber Monday?
Cyber Monday was first coined back in 2005 by Ellen Davis and Scott Silverman of the US’ National Retail Federation and Shop.org.
The general premise was for it to be a secondary sale event following Black Friday for smaller retailers. However, nowadays all the key players in retail also participate in Cyber Monday discounting too.
